About the Role

  • We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s day to day accounting operations.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting, VAT, and regulatory requirements.

Salary

  • Salary: 5000 AED

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Record financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier and client reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation.
  • Process and maintain accounting records using Zoho Books, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of UAE Anti Money Laundering AML regulations and support compliance with AML policies and reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Work closely with other departments to support business operations and financial planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, Zoho Books experience is must
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
