Accountant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounting including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
• Ensure timely and accurate **VAT return filing** and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Manage and assist in **corporate tax filings** in accordance with UAE laws.
• Monitor cash flow, manage petty cash, and prepare regular financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and legal financial obligations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date financial documentation and ensure proper recordkeeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• **Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE**.
• Understanding of **UAE VAT laws** and **corporate taxation**.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar platforms.
• Solid knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Excellent MS Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
