Protocols FZCO is seeking three highly experienced Senior General Accountants to manage financial operations for three distinct companies. Each role requires end-to-end accounting up to finalization, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, UAE tax compliance, banking, audits, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities
- Maintain precise day to day accounting records using advanced accounting software
- Prepare accurate monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
- Handle accurate calculations, filing, and reconciliation of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and lead preparation for annual external audits
- Manage employee payroll transfers in compliance with MOHRE WPS
- Track accounts receivables, follow ups on software subscription renewals, and process vendor payouts (for SaaS role)
- Reconcile physical gold inventory vs. books and track market gold fixes (for gold trading role)
- Manage import/export documentation, customs duty reconciliations, and LC documentation (for general trading role)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of core accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Tally, Zoho, Oracle, or QuickBooks
- Fluent in English
- Prior UAE/Dubai market experience handling local compliance preferred
- CA, ACCA, or CMA semi qualified status is a strong advantage

Job Overview

- Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in Accounting & Finance
- We are a diversified business group in Dubai currently seeking three (3) highly experienced Accountants to manage the financial operations of three distinct companies under our umbrella.
Core Responsibilities (Applicable to All 3 Roles)
- End to End Bookkeeping: Maintain precise day to day accounting records using advanced accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or QuickBooks).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- UAE Tax Compliance: Handle accurate calculations, filing, and reconciliation of monthly/quarterly UAE VAT (5%) and ensure alignment with the new UAE Corporate Tax (9%) regulations.
- Banking & Audits: Perform regular bank reconciliations and lead the preparation of documents for annual external financial audits.
- Payroll Processing: Manage employee payroll transfers in strict compliance with the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) Wages Protection System (WPS).
Industry Specific Responsibilities
- Position 1 (SaaS): Managing recurring SaaS subscription revenues, deferred revenue models, and multi currency transactions. Tracking accounts receivables, follow ups on software subscription renewals, processing software vendor payouts, and calculating sales commissions.
- Position 2 (Gold Trading): Managing high value inventory, metal pricing fluctuations, and strict regulatory compliance. Daily reconciliation of physical gold inventory vs. books, tracking live market gold fixes/hedging sheets, and adhering to UAE AML/CFT compliance reporting.
- Position 3 (General Trading): Supply chain financials, cost of goods sold (COGS), and international trade documentation. Managing import/export documentation, Customs duty reconciliations, freight and logistics cost tracking, Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, and age analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA, ACCA, or CMA semi qualified status is a strong advantage).
- Experience: Strictly minimum 5 years of core accounting experience (prior UAE/Dubai market experience handling local compliance is preferred).
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SAP, TALLY, ZOHO, ORACLE, MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and specific industry ERPs.
- Communication: Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
