- Manage day to day accounting activities including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling bank and cash accounts, and preparing periodic financial reports
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, track expenses, and support payroll and inventory related accounting
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support audits and month end and year end closing processes
- Collaborate with operations and management to provide accurate financial data that supports effective decision making
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash management
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and inventory related accounting in a retail or hospitality environment
- Ability to maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and support month end and year end closing activities
- Familiarity with local UAE financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit processes is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
- Prior experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably within the food & beverage or hospitality sector

Role Description
