About the Role
Event Souk is seeking an Accountant cum Storekeeper to manage accounting transactions, storekeeping, and procurement.

Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Manage petty cash and ensure timely deposits
- Receive inventory and conduct physical stock audits
- Update inventory software daily
- Source suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Process purchase orders and manage vendor performance
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as an accountant cum storekeeper, with at least 3 years in Dubai
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Proficient in English
- Valid UAE driving license
- Expertise in Odoo, Zoho or any other ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Accounts Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions

- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Petty Cash Management
- Ensure timely deposits of cash and checks
Storekeeper Responsibilities
- Receiving inventory: Inspecting incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Conducting audits: Performing regular physical stock counts
- Tracking records: Updating inventory software daily
- Issuing materials: Fulfilling internal requisitions or customer orders
Procurement Responsibilities
- Sourcing suppliers: Researching, evaluating, and selecting reliable vendors
- Negotiating contracts: Finalizing pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Processing orders: Reviewing purchase requisitions and issuing purchase orders
- Managing vendors: Monitoring supplier performance
- Controlling costs: Analyzing market trends and spending patterns
Skills
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as an accountant cum storekeeper, with at least 3 years in Dubai
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
