Accountant cum Audit Assistant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping and accounting for multiple clients.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, accounting schedules and financial reports.
• Assist in audit assignments and preparation of audit working papers.
• Assist with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Coordinate with clients for accounting records and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using relevant accounting software.
• Support senior team members in accounting, audit and tax assignments.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of UAE experience in an Audit, Accounting or Tax firm.
• CA Inter candidates with relevant practical experience.
• Experience in handling multiple client accounts independently.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting and bank reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Experience in audit working papers, audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel including formulas, reconciliations and accounting schedules.
• Strong analytical, communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Language Requirements

• Strong English communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Hindi communication skills – verbal.
• Malayalam – verbal.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
