Position Overview

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Accountant cum Administrator to manage the company's accounting and administrative functions.
  • The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support compliance with UAE regulations, and handle general administrative duties.
  • As a newly established company, the current volume of financial transactions is low, making this an ideal opportunity for a proactive professional.
  • Candidates must be available for immediate joining.

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain day to day financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ledger account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and basic financial analysis.
  • Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in developing and improving accounting processes and internal controls as the business grows.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage general office administration and ensure smooth day to day operations.
  • Handle correspondence, filing systems, document management, and record keeping.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven accounting experience within the UAE.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Busy, or similar platforms.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, accounting principles, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle both accounting and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
