Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
- Monitor financial details to ensure compliance with legal requirements, including VAT filings, JAFZA submissions, and other regulatory obligations
- Handle data entry, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor accounts regularly
- Review reconciliations and verify the accuracy of all financial transactions
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting exercises to support business planning
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision making
- Liaise and follow up with banks regarding existing and new financial operations
- Maintain organized financial records and assist in audit preparation
- Perform administrative and reporting support functions within the finance department
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, financial reporting, and local compliance standards
- Proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1) or similar accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Experience with JAFZA regulatory submissions is an advantage

- Al Asayel Health & Safety FZE is seeking a detail oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to join our finance team.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, UAE accounting experience, and a clear understanding of VAT regulations, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Candidates holding professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven experience in managing accounting functions will be given preference.
