Job Description

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including corporate, sales, and payroll taxes, while staying up-to-date with changing tax regulations.
• Tax Planning: Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimize tax liabilities and enhance financial strategies for the organization.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances and providing recommendations.
• Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and information to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and reconcile company expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Client Consultation: Provide tax advice and support to clients, helping them navigate complex tax issues and compliance requirements.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, ensuring documentation is readily accessible and compliant with regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting and taxation functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, with a strong focus on taxation.
• Knowledge of accounting software and tax preparation tools.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus.

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary: AED 2,500 to AED 3000, based on experience and qualifications.
