Role Overview
The audit firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant/Audit Assistant in Dubai.
The role supports senior auditors, reviews client financial data, and helps prepare audit schedules.
A CPA license is not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client transactions, bank reconciliations, and financial records for accuracy.
- Prepare draft financial statements and audit working papers under senior supervision.
- Organize and maintain audit files and client documentation.
- Coordinate directly with clients to gather financial books and vouchers.
- Assist in ensuring client records comply with local regulations and UAE corporate tax laws.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- One to two years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar junior audit role is required.
- Professional working proficiency in English is required.
- Excellent command of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, is required.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally is required.
- Candidates must currently reside in the United Arab Emirates and be available to start immediately or on short notice.
Language and Additional Qualifications
- Tagalog is described as highly advantageous for coordinating with specific client portfolios.
