About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing, collection follow ups, customer account reconciliation, and aging analysis
- Manage accounts payable, verify supplier invoices, process payments, and reconcile vendor statements
- Assist in VAT preparation, review, and filing in compliance with UAE VAT regulations
- Maintain and monitor petty cash transactions and prepare periodic reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and month end closing schedules
- Prepare financial reports, management reports, and supporting schedules
- Attend client meetings and provide financial information, account updates, and professional support
- Coordinate with banks regarding transfers, account maintenance, and banking facilities
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documents and schedules
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and finance
- UAE experience preferred
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and VAT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Good communication and client handling skills
