Role Overview
Gulf Extrusions is hiring an Accountant for its Finance team in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The company operates in manufacturing, and manufacturing experience is mandatory.
The role requires 3–5 years of experience and covers accounting operations, compliance, reporting, and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, customer invoicing, collections, aging reports, and account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, supplier accounts, vendor reconciliations, and payable aging.
- Perform regular bank transactions and weekly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and record additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and period-end adjustments.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank, receivables, payables, inventory, and intercompany balances.
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing schedules and documentation.
- Record transactions accurately in the ERP system and maintain strong internal controls.
