Accountant

Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Accountant to independently manage our end-to-end accounting operations, project costing, and tax compliance.

This role requires full ownership of day-to-day books, from initial transaction entry in Tally to monthly financial reporting and VAT filing.

• Full-Cycle Accounting & Tally Operations
• Manage daily accounting workflows in Tally ERP / Tally Prime: journal entries, adjustments, accruals, prepayments, and ledger allocations.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, client ledgers, and post-dated cheques (PDCs) on a monthly basis.
• Oversee petty cash management, local purchase orders (LPOs), and accounts payable/receivable.
• Project Costing & Contracting
• Process Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), track mobilization advances, and record retention receivables/payables.
• Allocate direct job site costs, materials, and landed costs to monitor individual project profitability.
• VAT & Compliance
• Independently prepare and file quarterly UAE VAT returns directly through the FTA Emaratax portal (calculating Output/Input VAT and RCM).
• Execute monthly payroll processing via the Wages Protection System (WPS) and ensure record compliance for statutory audits.
• Financial Reporting
• Generate balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and project expense reports using Tally and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF).

• Software Skills: Mandatory expertise in Tally ERP / TallyPrime
• UAE Experience: (construction or contracting sector preferred).
