Job summary
The employer is seeking an experienced Accountant.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial reporting, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and general accounting principles.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense management as required.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho.
