Role overview
The employer is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting activities.
The role supports accurate financial reporting and compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records and prepare reports.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare VAT filings and ensure UAE VAT compliance.
- Prepare Corporate Tax filings.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Support budgeting and audits as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT.
- Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills.
- CPA, ACCA, or CA certification is a plus but not required.
- Fluent in English.
