Role Description
- The Account Specialist is a full time, on site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining regular contact, and addressing inquiries to ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
- Day to day tasks include processing orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating with internal departments, and resolving account issues in a timely manner.
- The Account Specialist will monitor account performance, prepare basic financial or sales reports, and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions and communications.
- The role also involves identifying opportunities for upselling or cross selling, supporting credit control activities, and contributing to continuous improvements in account management processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Account Management skills, including handling multiple accounts, maintaining accurate records, and building long term business relationships.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to respond promptly, clearly, and professionally to client needs.
- Solid Analytical Skills to review account data, identify trends or issues, and support data driven decision making.
- Basic to intermediate Finance knowledge to understand invoices, payment terms, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (Zoho).
- Ability to work on site in Dubai, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in trading, distribution, or a similar commercial environment is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional languages commonly used in the region are beneficial.
