Account Receivable (AR)

Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts, prepare and issue invoices, track payment statuses, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Reconcile AR ledgers and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate with clients about payment terms and address queries.
• Support periodic financial reporting related to receivables.
• Adhere to company policies and provide proactive support to the finance function.

Required qualifications

• Strong finance skills, including basic accounting knowledge and understanding of accounts receivable processes.
• Robust analytical skills to interpret AR data, identify trends in outstanding balances, and support decision-making.
• Effective communication skills for clear, professional interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Practical invoicing and debt collection skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Sharjah, manage time effectively, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in ERP or accounting software, prior AR or general accounting experience, and familiarity with corporate finance practices are beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
