Role Description

Monitor and manage customer accounts, prepare and issue invoices, and track payments to support timely collection of outstanding receivables.
Communicate with clients, resolve discrepancies, reconcile accounts, maintain accurate records, and support reporting and cash-flow management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts and outstanding receivables.
- Prepare, issue, and track invoices and payments.
- Communicate with clients about billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Follow up on overdue accounts using professional and compliant collection practices.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to efficient cash-flow management.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to review account data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate reporting.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles relevant to accounts receivable.
- Effective communication skills for client and internal stakeholder interactions.
- Experience with compliant, respectful, and results-oriented debt collection and follow-up procedures.
- Proficiency in preparing, issuing, and tracking invoices.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software and good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Relevant post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Prior accounts receivable or similar finance experience is preferred.
