Role overview
The employer is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer for its finance and accounting team.
The role manages customer accounts, outstanding balances, payments, collections, and financial records.

Key responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts receivable activities and customer accounts.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and credit notes.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
- Record and reconcile customer payments and maintain account records.
- Investigate payment discrepancies and billing issues.
- Prepare aging and collection status reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Coordinate with sales and finance teams on customer account issues.
- Support compliance with accounting policies and applicable UAE requirements.
- Support internal and external audits when required.
Candidate requirements
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, organization, and time management.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle customer payment inquiries professionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a finance team.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- High integrity and confidentiality.
Preferred qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit control, finance, or accounting is an advantage.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and general accounting practices is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and strong numerical skills are welcome to apply.
