About the Role
Accounts Receivable Executive role supporting day-to-day finance activities in the UAE.
The role covers invoicing, payment allocation, reconciliations, collections, aging analysis, reporting, and financial record maintenance.

Work Arrangement
- The source states both on-site and hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts receivable activities, invoices, credit notes, debit notes, payments, account balances, and transaction records.
- Monitor aging, follow up on overdue payments, reconcile customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and respond to customer questions about invoices, payments, balances, and statements.
- Prepare reports and documentation and assist with month-end closing, cash-flow monitoring, VAT documentation, and audits.
- Identify collection risks, escalate disputed accounts, maintain confidentiality, and improve AR processes.
Required Skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Practical knowledge of invoicing, collections, payment allocation, and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, numerical and analytical skills.
- Good organization, follow-up, communication, customer service, and deadline management.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, and filtering.
- Strong English communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is requested.
- Typically two or more years of relevant AR, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
- Previous AR Executive, AR Officer, Accountant, or Accounts Assistant experience is preferred.
- Accounting software or ERP experience is advantageous.
- UAE VAT documentation knowledge and UAE accounting experience are advantageous.
- Relevant internships or practical accounting experience may be considered for junior positions.
