About the role

  • As our new Account Manager, Merchants QLD, you will be the front line representative to our merchant and trade customer base.
  • You will manage a defined customer portfolio, driving sales performance, strengthening relationships and identifying opportunities to expand our footprint within the market.
  • You will be responsible for delivering strong sales performance across your territory, achieving agreed sales and margin targets.
  • Central to the role is building and maintaining trusted relationships with key merchant and trade customers.
  • You will analyse sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities, developing and executing targeted sales plans.
  • You will contribute valuable market intelligence, identify customer specific opportunities and ensure operational excellence.
  • Working collaboratively across Marketing, Supply, Operations and Sales, you will share customer insights to help shape broader business strategy.

About you

  • We are looking for an individual who combines strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • You will bring proven experience in a sales or account management role, ideally within the trade or merchant channel.
  • You will be confident in analysing data and translating insights into practical actions that drive performance.
  • You will have a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential, while experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded.
