Account Manager

The Account Manager (AM) at DefEYE is a dynamic sales professional responsible for selling our products to new and existing customers.

This role is crucial in maintaining and expanding relationships with individual practices and large, multi-location customers within a given region.

The AM will partner with field staff to support sales efforts, meet or exceed sales quotas, and ensure customer needs and expectations are met.

• Develop and execute sales strategies in the eye care market to meet or exceed sales forecasts.
• Manage and follow up on all sales leads, ensuring direct customer sales where appropriate.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of DefEYE products and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
• Analyze sales territories and develop business plans to increase sales objectives.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with other representatives to organize events and special programs.
• Complete administrative tasks such as reports and forecasts in a timely manner.
• Participate in DefEYE Sales training and adhere to company policies.
• Act as the sales lead at trade shows and manage booth logistics.
• Assist in the development of buying criteria and identification of decision makers in target accounts.
• Collaborate with the Sales Management team to strategize on marketing and customer targeting.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships to drive early adoption of DefEYE products.
• Proactively share information and support colleagues to achieve collective success.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with healthcare providers.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Proven track record of developing and growing sales in a geographic territory.
