Account Manager

Role Purpose

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies and sales plans for assigned accounts.
• Understand customer needs and create customer value propositions.
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities at key accounts.
• Build multi-level customer relationships and internal business networks.
• Serve as a lead contact for contract negotiations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, demand plans, reports, and business analyses.
• Coordinate local deliveries with logistics teams and suppliers.
• Use required company systems and follow corporate directives, guidelines, and competition compliance requirements.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in chemicals, science, or technology is required; an MBA is preferred.
• 7–12 years of commercial experience in the chemical industry is required.
• Broad or extensive chemical-sector and sales knowledge is required.
• Specialty chemical or base chemicals industry experience is preferred.
