Microsoft is recruiting for an Account Executive apprenticeship role focused on customer accounts, sales execution, and digital transformation.
The role develops account plans, customer relationships, Microsoft solution recommendations, and opportunities for business growth.
Tomoh Apprenticeship
Tomoh is Microsoft's six-month paid training program for early-in-profession recruitment and employability development.
The program includes mentoring, coaching, job shadowing, real-life assignments, and globally recognized technical and professional certifications.
The program starts in January 2027 and is full-time for six months.
Program structure
- Phase one is a one-month onboarding and skilling bootcamp covering Microsoft's mission, culture, strategy, structure, certifications, project management, change management, interpersonal skills, creativity, innovation, and time management.
- Phase two is five months of on-the-job training as an Account Management Intern, including customer and digital transformation project support.
- Advanced training includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee account plans for multiple accounts and keep engagements aligned with goals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Understand customer digital transformation drivers and coordinate internal teams to support customer strategy.
- Cultivate relationships across customer organizations to secure alignment, buy-in, and execution.
- Seek customer feedback, understand satisfaction drivers, and establish action plans to improve experience.
- Coordinate virtual teams and stakeholders to engage account decision makers.
- Recommend Microsoft solutions and create value proposition presentations and specialized business plans.
- Identify new opportunities and upsell potential within assigned accounts.
- Gather industry data with internal experts to improve account planning.
Minimum qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, business, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.

- Effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
