- Manage day to day financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across manufacturing and operations.
- Monitor compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement teams to maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements

Job Description
- The accountant role is a full time position based in Dubai.
- Manage day to day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate cost allocation across manufacturing and operations.
- Monitor compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations, support internal and external audits, and help optimize financial processes.
- Collaboration with operations, sales, and procurement teams is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for trading environments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of cash balances.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and margin analysis.
- Familiarity with UAE tax regulations (e.g., VAT) and compliance requirements.
- Comfort working with accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
- Assist with month end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.
- Prior experience in building material trading sectors is beneficial.
