About the Role
IDC is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales and build relationships with clients in the Middle East (excluding Saudi Arabia). The role focuses on selling IDC's portfolio of services, with a special emphasis on Events, to technology vendors.

Responsibilities
- Individually contribute to sales revenue for Middle East region (excluding Saudi Arabia) via identifying and prospecting new business opportunities in the technology sector as well as keeping existing clients engaged
- Lead outreach and sales efforts across IDC’s portfolio with special focus on Events portfolio, targeting technology vendors across the Middle East
- Organize and drive face to face and virtual meetings with existing and potential customers to sell IDC Services
- Collaborate with internal teams based in different offices regionally to drive sales
- Customize proposals based on customer requirements with the support of team members through existing PowerPoint templates
- Accurately report the sales pipeline in the CRM and local market intel/inputs to grow the business
Requirements
- Solid track record of about 8 10 years of experience with a focus on transactional selling and client relationship management
- Knowledge of the technology sector and/or experience with selling into Marketing unit is a big plus
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various organizational levels
- Powerful negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, advanced PowerPoint skills are an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
- Excellent problem solving skills and a strategic mindset
- Self motivated, driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales related software, knowledge of Salesforce in particular is a plus

About the Role & Team
- As an Account Executive at IDC, you will be responsible for driving sales, growth and building long lasting relationships with existing clients (20%) and prospects (80%) within Middle East excluding Saudi Arabia across the IDC portfolio of services.
- While this role is not open at this time, we are actively identifying and engaging with high quality Account Manager or Account Executive candidates in anticipation of future openings.

What You’ll Do
- Individually contributing to the sales revenue for Middle East region (excluding Saudi Arabia) via identifying and prospecting new business opportunities in the technology sector as well as keeping existing clients engaged.
- Lead outreach and sales efforts across IDC’s portfolio with special focus on Events portfolio, targeting technology vendors across the Middle East.

What You Bring
- A solid track record of about 8 10 years of experience with a focus on transactional selling emphasizes speed, efficiency, and closing a quick, price driven deals without deep customisation and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of the technology sector and/or experience with selling into Marketing unit is a big plus.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various organizational levels.
- Powerful negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, advanced PowerPoint skills are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
