Role Overview
The Account Executive role drives sales by building customer partnerships, understanding business needs, and providing customer service.
The position focuses on new business development, pipeline building, and winning and developing customers in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain rapport with current and prospective customers through face-to-face interactions.
- Understand customer needs and determine fit for FedEx products and services.
- Craft and deliver sales pitches that address customer pain points.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quotas and organisational goals.
- Plan, prioritise, and organise workload independently to meet deadlines and targets.
- Drive new business and build strong sales pipelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
- Commercial or industrial sales experience requirements vary by level: no prior experience for Associate, at least two years for the standard level, and three years for Senior.
