Role overview
Rathi Associates is seeking a mid-level Accountant to independently handle core accounting functions, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
The firm works in architecture and interior design across residential, commercial, corporate, and real estate development projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Manage monthly closing, reconciliations, and management information system reporting.
- Handle the general ledger, accruals, and provisions.
- Complete bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Process payroll and related reconciliations.
- Handle GST, TDS, PT, and Income Tax filings.
- Maintain accounts in Tally.
- Prepare invoices and verify bills.
- Coordinate with auditors and support timely audit closure.
Skills required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Tally.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
