Job Summary
Manage the company’s day-to-day accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking, financial reporting, and overall accounts operations.
Coordinate with management, chartered accountants, auditors, customers, vendors, and internal departments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise complete day-to-day accounting activities.
- Maintain books of accounts and timely accounting entries.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer collections, vendor invoices, and payment schedules.
- Handle bank transactions, bank reconciliation statements, cash flow, and fund requirements.
- Prepare and review profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, financial statements, and management reports.
- Manage GST reconciliations, return-related data, e-invoicing, and e-way bills.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return-related data.
- Coordinate taxation, statutory filings, audits, ledger reconciliations, and financial documentation.
- Maintain records in Tally/ERP and verify sales, purchase, expense, journal, debit note, and credit note entries.
- Coordinate inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, valuation, payroll accounting, and internal department requirements.
- Prepare MIS, ageing, outstanding, expense, and other reports required by management.
- Supervise junior accounts staff and report discrepancies, overdue payments, unusual transactions, and compliance issues.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practical accounting procedures.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Understanding of manufacturing accounting and inventory transactions.
- Ability to prepare and understand financial statements and MIS reports.
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, communication, and interdepartmental coordination skills.
- Ability to independently handle the Accounts Department and meet statutory deadlines.
Qualification and Experience
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or another relevant qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant Accounts and Finance experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month.
