About the Role

- Develop, execute and update leisure segments strategy for the market
- Identify new accounts for acquisition through a variety of channels
- Attend trade shows, conferences and industry meetings
- Plan and execute sales trips, sales calls, site visits and client entertainment
- Analyse and maintain knowledge of customers, market trends and competition
- Supervise support staff in planning, administration and execution of select client events
- Represent Marriott International worldwide, promoting quality image and uncovering additional leads
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous senior leisure sales leadership experience
- Knowledge of Wholesale, Consortia and Tour Operators segment
- Experience in German/UK and CIS market is a plus
- UAE experience with DMCs is a plus
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Proven prospecting and new business development abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- German speaking preferred
- Superior time management and relationship building

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor Degree holder.
- Previous senior leisure sales leadership experience recommended.
- Knowledge of Wholesale, Consortia and Tour Operators segment.
- Experienced in the German/UK and CIS market is a plus.
- Having UAE experience with DMCs is a plus.
- Possess strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven prospecting and new business development abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; German speaking preferred.
- Superior time management and relationship building.
- 2 year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
