About the Role
The Account Development Representative works with Sales and Marketing to identify and qualify new opportunities.
The Sales Development program provides sales bootcamp training, mentorship, and virtual group training.
The role is positioned as an entry point for progression into broader sales responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop inbound and outbound campaigns through qualified calls.
- Build sales and product knowledge and engage IT and business decision-makers by phone, video, LinkedIn, and email.
- Maintain lead activity in Salesforce, set qualified meetings, nurture early opportunities, and deliver against opportunity quotas.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Account Executives and provide insights to improve sales development.
First 90 Days
- During the first month, complete sales bootcamp training, learn Kong's products, and understand how Sales Development, Marketing, and Account Executives work together.
