Administer all elements of Accessibility Services Conduct interviews following the interactive process with students to determine eligibility and implement appropriate accommodations and assistive technologies.

Serve as an advocate and liaison with faculty and staff for student educational access.
Communicate and provide information to students, parents, and secondary education representatives regarding program requirements and transition from high school to college.
Identify, evaluate, and develop program goals, processes, and procedures.
Develop and administer budget.

Keeps detailed records on student progression/goals.
Understand campus processes and assist students in navigating those processes.
Use software systems to understand the student’s account, track meetings and notes, and be knowledgeable of the student’s academic record.
Participate in advising team meetings.
Consult and Collaborate Collaborate with facility and maintenance staff to ensure accessibility.
Consult with appropriate community, state, and professional organizations, and colleagues (e.g. the Office of Disability Equity at University of Montana.
Work with faculty on specific student concerns.
Create transformational partnerships with state and local resources (e.g.
Ability Montana and Voc.
Rehab.) to promote student self-efficacy for career and independent living.
Develop Institutional Awareness Provide faculty, staff, and student training concerning accessibility services.
Help to develop institutional policies and procedures regarding students with disabilities.
Communicate program information to the campus community.
Management and Supervision of Others Though the position does not currently supervise anyone, it does have significant independence and decision-making authority.
Oversee a disability-focused Advisory Council that reviews program requirements and educational outcomes and provides guidance to inform fundamental alteration determinations.

Bachelor’s degree in applicable area; combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
Excellent verbal, writing, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Able to work independently.
Ability to oversee maintenance of materials of a confidential nature including disability information and FERPA protected student information.
Willingness to continuously advance job knowledge through attending regular professional development opportunities and maintain up to date knowledge on Accessibility Services through appropriate entities.
Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Experience working within a higher education setting- two-year setting preferred.
working with an Accessibility Services program in a post-secondary setting preferred.
working with ADA compliance.
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule.
Hours and schedule may vary depending on the needs of the program.
