Access Control Solutions Engineer

KeyTrak, a division of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking an Access Control Solutions Engineer to lead the research, design, and integration of commercial access control solutions. As the internal subject matter expert, you’ll focus on access control hardware/software, smart systems, and integration with related security technologies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are compliant, comprehensive, and delivered on schedule. This position requires up to 50% travel.

Key responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement smart access control systems, defining security goals, access levels, and user experience requirements - Review project drawings/specs to validate feasibility, completeness, and alignment with business needs - Develop and review system architectures, including door hardware, intrusion detection, and video surveillance - Uphold security standards and best practices in every solution - Identify opportunities to improve existing access control solutions, processes, integrations, and user experiences through innovative and practical design approaches. - Monitor trends and recommend new technologies, hardware, and vendors

Location: College Station, Texas (onsite).

This position is based at our College Station, TX office, and candidates must be willing and able to commute to this location. Reynolds offers a hybrid work schedule based on position eligibility. Following completion of the training period, eligible associates may work from home up to two days per week.
