DirAction is seeking an experienced Academic Quality Officer / Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support academic quality assurance processes and OTHM compliance.

Responsibilities
- Act as the institute’s quality nominee / IQA support person for OTHM related quality assurance processes
- Review assessment decisions to ensure fairness, consistency, and alignment with learning outcomes
- Develop and maintain IQA sampling plans, assessment records, and quality assurance documentation
- Support assessors and lecturers through feedback, guidance, and standardisation activities
- Monitor assessment practices, learner feedback, and academic quality processes
- Coordinate documentation for internal review and external quality assurance visits
- Support continuous improvement in teaching, assessment, and student academic experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Recognised IQA qualification, such as Level 4 IQA / Internal Quality Assurance qualification, will be strongly preferred
- Prior experience as IQA, Lead IQA, Quality Officer, Assessor, Academic Coordinator, or Compliance Officer in a training institute or awarding body environment
- Knowledge of OTHM, Ofqual regulated qualifications, UK awarding body standards, or vocational assessment processes will be an advantage
- Strong documentation, reporting, and academic coordination skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- UAE education/training sector experience will be preferred

Role Overview
- DirAction is looking for an experienced and detail oriented Academic Quality Officer / Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support the institute’s academic quality assurance processes and OTHM compliance requirements.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in internal quality assurance, assessment review, academic documentation, and compliance with UK awarding body requirements.
