Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Division of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA), The Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Applications are invited for a full-time academic surgical pathologist position available immediately. We seek candidates with residency training in anatomical pathology and additional fellowship training in hematopathology . Expertise in another surgical subspecialty such as breast, gynecologic, or gastrointestinal pathology is strongly encouraged. The successful candidate will join a collegial team of over 40 pathologists representing every subspecialty in anatomical pathology. Our division operates a fully subspecialized model, with an annual surgical pathology volume exceeding 120,000 cases and a high proportion of gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and breast specimens. Each pathologist participates in one or two additional subspecialties beyond their primary focus, fostering depth and breadth of expertise. Compensation and benefits are aligned with the Uniform Minimum Level of Compensation (UMLC) for Ontario pathologists, with an annual remuneration of approximately CAD $418,000.
