The following position is fully onsite, is 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week), and is a one-year fixed term.
The Division of Clinical Anatomy is responsible for anatomy education programs for Stanford's undergraduate, graduate, and medical school students.
It also offers programs and resources for the teaching of surgical techniques to residents and for the ongoing development of surgeons throughout their careers.
We are seeking an Academic and Research Program Coordinator to provide part-time administrative and operational support for a complex academic environment in the School of Medicine.
This 75% role will help coordinate academic courses, research-related educational activities, lab scheduling, student-facing programs, visiting learner logistics, and expanded summer program offerings.
The division has operated without dedicated administrative support since November 2024, with duties distributed across existing staff during medical leave and the subsequent hiring freeze.
As lab coordination demands, new student courses, and additional summer program iterations have expanded, dedicated coordination is needed to support continuity, accuracy, and timely execution of division priorities.
This position requires an individual who can work independently and with limited supervision, exercise sound judgment, manage competing deadlines, and communicate effectively with faculty, students, staff, visitors, vendors, and external partners.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, service-oriented, proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable supporting multiple programs in a busy academic setting.
