About the Role
Supervise category management and sourcing activities for academic and administrative services at KFUPM.
Translate approved category strategies and procurement plans into a controlled sourcing pipeline.
Ensure sourcing follows supply chain policy, procedures, delegation of authority, and Oracle-based systems.
Escalate material commercial, risk, or stakeholder matters to the Director.
Category Strategy and Planning
- Translate category strategies into prioritized sourcing plans, demand forecasts, and activity pipelines.
- Use demand, market, and supplier intelligence to optimize specifications, sourcing approaches, cost, quality, risk, and value.
Sourcing and Commercial Oversight
- Supervise end-to-end sourcing activities, including requisition review, route selection, pre-qualification, RFx development, bidder management, evaluation, negotiation, award recommendation, and handover.
- Review sourcing packs for completeness, commercial robustness, procedural compliance, and approvals.
