About the Role
SEE Engineering seeks an AC VRF Technician to maintain and repair VRF air conditioning systems in residential and commercial facilities. The role requires 2-3 years of VRF experience and technical skills in troubleshooting, refrigerant handling, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of VRF systems
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair indoor and outdoor VRF units
- Diagnose faults in compressors, fan motors, sensors, controllers, and communication systems
- Monitor refrigerant pressure and identify refrigerant leaks
- Carry out refrigerant charging and recovery activities
- Maintain VRF branch controllers, control wiring, and communication networks
- Ensure proper operation of central controllers and BMS integration
- Attend resident complaints related to air conditioning systems
- Conduct inspections of villa AC systems and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure timely closure of maintenance requests in accordance with SLA requirements
- Clean filters, coils, and drain systems
- Submit daily maintenance reports and record completed work orders in CAFM systems
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 3 years of experience in VRF air conditioning systems
- Experience with Hitachi, LG, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Samsung, or similar VRF systems
- Experience in residential communities, villas, apartments, or commercial buildings
- HVAC or VRF system certification preferred

Job Purpose
- The AC VRF Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of VRF air conditioning systems within residential villa communities, apartments, commercial buildings, and community facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of VRF systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair indoor and outdoor VRF units.
- Diagnose faults in compressors, fan motors, sensors, controllers, and communication systems.
- Monitor refrigerant pressure and identify refrigerant leaks.
- Carry out refrigerant charging and recovery activities as required.
- Maintain VRF branch controllers, control wiring, and communication networks.
- Ensure proper operation of central controllers and BMS integration.
- Attend resident complaints related to air conditioning systems.
- Conduct inspections of villa AC systems and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure timely closure of maintenance requests in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Coordinate with residents during maintenance activities.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Identify and rectify faults in VRF outdoor units, indoor fan coil units, control wiring, communication modules, central controllers, thermostats and sensors.
- Replace defective components and perform system testing after repairs.
Preventive Maintenance
- Clean filters, coils, and drain systems.
- Check electrical connections and control circuits.
- Verify system operating parameters.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer maintenance requirements.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow company HSE procedures and safe work practices.
- Use appropriate PPE while performing maintenance activities.
- Comply with Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.
- Ensure safe handling of refrigerants and electrical equipment.
Reporting
- Submit daily maintenance reports.
- Record completed work orders in CAFM systems.
- Report major defects and replacement requirements to supervisors.
- Maintain service and maintenance records.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- HVAC or VRF system certification is preferred.
