Overview
We are seeking a **dedicated and experienced ABA Therapist (Behavior Technician)** to join our team on a **part-time basis**.
The ideal candidate will support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs by implementing evidence-based ABA interventions under the supervision of a BCBA.
Role Overview
The ABA Therapist will deliver one-on-one therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans, focusing on improving communication, social skills, behavior regulation, and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement ABA treatment plans during one-on-one therapy sessions as directed by the BCBA
- Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to track progress
- Teach new skills using evidence-based ABA strategies
- Implement behavior reduction strategies and promote positive alternatives
- Support development of communication, social, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with BCBAs, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Ensure consistency in therapy implementation across settings
Qualifications
- UAE-attested Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Education, or Social Work
- ABA Certification / RBT Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in ABA or related field preferred
- Strong patience, empathy, and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
