Job Summary

  • The ABA Therapist provides one on one therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral challenges.
  • The therapist implements individualized treatment plans, collects behavioral data, and supports the development of communication, social, academic, and daily living skills through evidence based ABA techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual ABA therapy sessions according to treatment plans
  • Implement behavior intervention programs under the supervision of a BCBA/IBA or Clinical Supervisor
  • Teach communication, social, play, self help, and adaptive skills
  • Use positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
  • Collect, record, and maintain accurate session data and progress notes
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide regular feedback regarding client progress
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Education, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field
  • ABA certification or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental delays
  • CDA License or eligibility for licensure in Dubai is preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with children and families
