Responsibilities
- Review ABA session notes, supervision notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Identify missing information, inconsistencies, and documentation concerns
- Follow up with clinicians and team members to resolve documentation issues
- Ensure records meet company policies, payer requirements, and compliance standards
- Provide professional and constructive feedback to BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff
- Monitor documentation quality and promote consistency across clinical records
- Analyze documentation trends and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to strengthen documentation workflows
- Maintain organized, accurate, and audit ready records
- Support ongoing compliance initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Handle confidential client information with professionalism, discretion, and care
Requirements
- Previous experience working in the ABA field
- Strong understanding of ABA terminology, clinical documentation, and service delivery

Role Overview
- We're looking for an ABA Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist to help maintain the quality, accuracy, and integrity of our clinical records.
- This is not a software QA role. It's a specialized ABA focused position.
What You'll Do
- Review ABA session notes, supervision notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

Preferred
- Experience in documentation review, compliance, quality improvement, or clinical record auditing
- BCBA, BCaBA, RBT, or ABA administrative experience
- Experience with ABA practice management software, EMR systems, or electronic documentation platforms
- Familiarity with insurance requirements, authorizations, and ABA documentation standards
