Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analyses and studies ensuring the safe integration of AAM technologies into the aviation ecosystem
- Build technical capabilities in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) within GACA
- Update existing regulations to incorporate AAM relevant systems & technologies
- Develop regulations and procedures, prepare technical recommendations, and obtain the required approvals
- Develop new regulations to enable airworthiness certification issuance
- Define processes to conduct surveillance/oversight of testing and compliance
- Conduct technical studies related to issuing and accepting airworthiness certificates for AAM aircraft and systems
- Review and analyze engineering designs, safety data, and manufacturers’ risk management solutions
- Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and fleet operators to verify compliance with certification standards
- Support and enable tests and flight trials for AAM systems
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by direct management related to the nature and scope of the job
- Prepare reports on time and with the required quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the field
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with ICAO standards and recommended practices related to AAM or emerging aviation technologies (desirable)
- Knowledge of Arabic is desirable

Qualifications And Experience

- Proficiency in English (Essential).
- Knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
