A&P Aircraft Mechanic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection of commercial aircraft.
• Remove, install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace aircraft components and assemblies.
• Perform aircraft servicing, operational checks, functional tests, and maintenance inspections as required.
• Support maintenance activities on Boeing 737, Boeing 767, Airbus, and other commercial aircraft platforms.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, flight control, and related aircraft systems.
• Perform component removal and installation in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
• Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Structural Repair Manuals (SRM), service bulletins, engineering drawings, and other approved technical data.
• Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company procedures.
• Accurately document completed maintenance actions and required aircraft paperwork.
• Maintain accurate labor charging and job tracking records.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, engineering teams, and fellow technicians regarding work progress and technical concerns.
• Complete required training, OJT documentation, and company compliance requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support overtime and schedule flexibility as required to meet operational demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance, engineering, quality, and operational personnel.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, practices, tools, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations required for aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and technical instructions.
• Proficiency with aircraft maintenance tools, equipment, and standard maintenance practices.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced maintenance environment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• This position is performed in an active aircraft maintenance environment and may require working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Employees must be able to:
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb for extended periods.
• Work from ladders, maintenance stands, and elevated platforms.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Work in aircraft hangars and maintenance facilities.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings.
• Wear required PPE and comply with all FAA, OSHA, customer, and company safety requirements.
