Requirements
- Specification and project management skills, including experience preparing, reviewing, and managing architectural and interior design specifications
- Strong relationship building and business development skills, with ability to engage architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors
- Technical understanding of wall and floor coverings (e.g., wallpapers, vinyl wallcoverings, carpets, carpet tiles, LVT, wall protection systems) and their performance, installation, and maintenance requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using CRM and project tracking tools, and working with standard office software (e.g., MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Relevant experience in the building materials, interior finishes, or flooring industry within the UAE or GCC region is highly beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to work independently

Role Description
- The A&D Specification Manager is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for driving project specifications and product adoption among architect and interior design firms.
- This role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers, presenting BSH product portfolios, and providing technical guidance on appropriate wall and floor solutions for specific project requirements.
- The A&D Specification Manager will prepare and update project specifications, respond to design inquiries, and coordinate closely with the sales and project execution teams to ensure specifications are converted into orders.
- Day to day activities involve regular client visits, project pipeline tracking, conducting product knowledge sessions, gathering market insights, and ensuring all specified solutions meet performance, sustainability, and budget expectations.
- The role also requires thorough documentation of specifications, accurate reporting, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to continuously improve offerings and client experience.
Qualifications
- Specification and project management skills, including experience preparing, reviewing, and managing architectural and interior design specifications.
- Strong relationship building and business development skills, with the ability to engage architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors.
