Position Summary
Provide plant maintenance expertise to support downtime objectives and complete equipment and building repairs.
Perform work according to quality, safety, legislative, and food safety guidelines.
Plant and Equipment Duties
- Complete daily Technical Safety BC inspections and monitor ammonia refrigeration, hot water, and wastewater systems.
- Respond to breakdowns, assess failures, and complete repairs promptly to limit plant and machine downtime.
- Maintain conveyors, dumpsters, and simple production equipment under the preventive maintenance program.
- Support maintenance, production, and sanitation teams with troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled work.
Documentation and Safety
- Report defects, production errors, and machinery issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
