3rd Shift Yard Jockey/ Loader

• Pay: $19.00 per/hr

• Schedule: Sunday- Thursday midnight to finish

• Must move trucks and work the dock

• The Hostler is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.

• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

• Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.

• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.

• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving. Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always.

• Completes all required documentation. Performs other related duties as assigned.
