Functional Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed production goals on the assigned machine.
- Assist the Link Tuber in machine setups as needed.
- Identify, analyze, and accurately perform necessary adjustments.
- Perform setups on the bottomer, patch unit, patch printing, and palletizer using basic tools.
- Lubricate machinery as needed.
- Perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
Skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and perform proper adjustments.
- Knowledge of multi-wall bags and the bag manufacturing process.
- Must complete Hood Packaging’s bag school and/or certification process.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools, ink carts, PH meters, and Zahn cups.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
