- Based out of Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Travel for projects as required
- Read and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID’s, etc.)
- Assist journeyperson pipefitters with the installation of equipment, pipe, and structural steel on site
- Assemble piping and valves in module and compressor packages
- Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
- Hydrotest, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility
- Measure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shape
- Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems
- Must be a registered 3rd or 4th year Apprentice with the appropriate provincial or federal authority
- Must have or be willing to obtain valid H2S Alive and CSTS 2020 or PST tickets - CSTS 09 and CSO/BSO will not be accepted
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors
