- Participate in 3GPP standardization meetings within relevant RAN1 or RAN2 working groups, contributing to the evolution of global radio standards.
- Lead the creation and promotion of Intellectual Property Rights and 3GPP standardization proposals.
- Develop inventions and expand Ofinno's Intellectual Property portfolio.
- Define and evaluate concepts and solutions for future radio access technologies and standards.
- Design and develop L1 or L2 radio technology components in alignment with radio standardization specifications, focusing on physical layer specifications.
- Utilize simulation tools to assess and validate new concepts and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure research aligns with broader business objectives.
- Present technical findings and proposals to clients and industry partners.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Ph.D. is strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience as a delegate in 3GPP standardization activities, particularly within RAN1 or RAN2.
- Proven expertise in leading the creation of Intellectual Property in the context of 3GPP standardization.
- In-depth understanding of 5G NR and next-generation wireless technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing, research, and technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Strong ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic priorities and organizational structures.
- Experience as a feature lead or rapporteur in RAN1 or RAN2 topics is preferred.
