Divide By Zero Technologies designs and manufactures industrial 3D printers in Navi Mumbai, including motion systems, extruders, firmware, and electronics.
The company also operates a print services bureau producing jigs, fixtures, gauges, prototypes, and low-volume production parts for customers.
What the Role Is
The role runs the industrial print floor from customer file review through printing, finishing, inspection, packing, and dispatch.
Print quality supports customer sales, while floor observations are shared with the engineering team that designs the printers.
The company provides training on its machines, materials, and slicer profiles.
Production and Printing
- Check customer files for printability, including wall thickness, feature size, mesh errors, and overhangs.
- Select materials and profiles, set orientation and supports, and slice jobs.
- Plan production across machines and monitor initial print layers and ongoing builds.
- Post-process parts through support removal, deburring, sanding, drilling, tapping, and assembly.
- Inspect parts against drawings and reprint parts that fail inspection.
Operations and Maintenance
- Perform and log daily and weekly machine maintenance, including nozzle checks, bed levelling, belt tension, and cleaning.
- Track filament stock and consumption, store materials properly, and raise indents before shortages occur.
- Update the job tracker from file receipt through dispatch.
- Pack, label, and dispatch finished parts.
- Produce sample and demo parts for the sales team and report recurring machine faults to engineering.
Must Have
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering is required; ITI with strong machine-handling aptitude is acceptable.
- Hands-on machine comfort, including loading, levelling, nozzle changes, and clearing jams.
- Ability to read basic 2D drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and orientation.
- Careful, methodical work following written SOPs and recording completed activity.
- Attention to detail when identifying stringing, layer shift, warping, and dimensional drift.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software.
- Hindi and Marathi for floor work and working English for job notes.
- Based in or around Navi Mumbai.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Simplify3D, Cura, PrusaSlicer, or Bambu Studio.
- Familiarity with STL, STEP, or OBJ files and basic mesh repair.
- Experience with PLA, PLA-CF, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA6-CF, or PC.
- CAD exposure using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD.
- Experience in a machine shop, tool room, CNC job shop, prototyping lab, or plastics unit.
- Experience building, tuning, or repairing a 3D printer is highly valued.
Compensation
- Compensation is listed as ₹15,000–₹22,000 per month depending on hands-on experience.
- A separate pay line lists ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month.
Schedule
- Day shift, Monday to Saturday.
Work Location
- In-person work at Nerul West, Navi Mumbai.
